Chimpanzees beat humans in memory test


In memory tests devised by Japanese scientists, young chimps outperformed university students. The test briefly showed a sequence of numbers 1-9 which were promptly hidden by blocks. The numbers then had to be revealed in increasing value. The experiment suggests that chimpanzees have a much better photographic memory than humans. Perhaps increasing the reward for humans might be a way to improve the human result :-)
