Upside Down Mobile Phone

Inventor Cees Tadema (also known from the ‘rotating home‘) has been assigned a patent for the upside-down mobile phone. The numeric keys are located above the screen on the upside-down mobile making it easier to use with one hand. This is especially useful for sending text messages. To avoid pressing the keypad while in conversation the top part has been rendered slightly concave.

The concept mobile has been dubbed the “Vice Verso” and Tadema is looking for mobile operators to market and produce the concept. Tadema adds “This idea makes a mobile much easier to use. The solution is simple but isn’t that the nature of all great inventions?”

Inventor Tadema knows more ’strange inventions’. His round company building doesn’t have stairs but rather a sloping spiral in the centre. The internal company magazine reads from right to left, because this is more logical for a right handed person.
